Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission.
The parents or legal guardian of the child will need to fill out a Registration Form in the rectory and bring the childs original birth certificate. The director of Baptsim will make an appointment to meet with the parents/legal guadrian to prepare for Baptism.
We meet on the Wednesday before the 2nd Sunday for the class and the Baptism is on the following Sunday after the 10:00a.m Mass.

Since the beginning of the Church, Adult Baptism is the common practice where the proclamation of the Gospel is still new. The catechumenate (preparation for Baptism) therefore occupies an important place. This initiation into Christian faith and life should dispose the catechumen to receive the gift of God in Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist (CCC 1247).
Children who are 7 years or older, teens and adults who have never been baptized are prepared for the Sacrament of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation through the process of R.C.I.A. - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
